Who We Are
The Allen Firm is passionate about providing client-focused legal services to individuals that have suffered injury due to negligent conduct. Our Founder
Founder John Allen was born and raised in Dallas, Texas.  He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin, and attained his Juris Doctor degree in 1993 from Southern Methodist University in Dallas. Throughout law school, Mr. Allen worked at a law office where he gained valuable experience and insight into the practical side of the practice of law. This work experience in law school gave Mr. Allen the knowledge and skills to start his own firm upon obtaining his law license. As a young lawyer with his own firm that dealt with criminal, family, employment, and personal injury cases, Mr. Allen performed the kind of work that is usually reserved for more seasoned attorneys. It was this experience that has served him well in dealing with complex litigation and a broad and diverse client base. Eventually, Mr. Allen chose to devote his practice to those suffering injuries due to the negligence of others. Since then, he has built a steady track record of success winning many verdicts while maintaining a solid reputation for a commitment to ethics, professionalism, and client advocacy. Of the many verdicts Mr. Allen has won, some were more than 20 times the offer of settlement. He has also obtained hundreds of settlements for his clients, some in the millions. Mr. Allen currently represents clients nationwide in various personal injury cases, and is a member of the American Association for Justice, Texas Trial Lawyers Association and the State Bar of Texas.
